I have post about this on the Google+, i recover the text and put it here to wish more feedback and thoughts about this quite strange thing…

If you want to propely use Gnome-Maps on MATE, here only faenza theme allow you to do so. With others icons i have tried, it cannot search cities or anything, only path from place to place seems to work. But if you use faenza, it works just Great !!
