Pretty much the same with Samsung. Early on we had bought a Samsung tablet, but It had been out of operation and sent to the recycle plant for years. I had forgotten all about it or that you had to have an Samsung account along with a Google account for Android. I had bought a new Samsung A-14 phone and sure enough when I tried to make the new account it said that email was already used. The problem was I had no idea what I had used for the user name or password.
