Grsync unreadable colour co-ordination problem

I am new to Ubuntu Mate, so far so good. I first loaded LTS then 19.10 and IMHO 19.10 runs better!
OK my question:

Checking out the backup systems I would like to us GSYNC however one tiny glitch, I have the colour scheme set in a very dark background for everything and all is well however.... GSYNC is unreadable in the source and target boxes - the background scheme is still white (Odd) but the two box are very dark grey which is annoying. As I don't want to type black onto very dark grey its either a cut and paste job or a torch shining on the screen as I would rather not change my whole theme.

Does anyone know a fix to make the two boxes more readable.

I don't have your problem and have no personal experiance but if I had the difficulty you describe, I would check out these two pages -

They appear to provide ways of overcoming a theme's color specifications. Good luck Ramlondon.

Thanks for your reply, in the end I looked at lots of themes online and chose a compromise.
