I found a way of showing the volume as a percentage using pavucontrol.
I adjusted it’s size, but I when I re-open it, it reverts to full size.
Any way to have it retain the size?
When pavucontrol is open, the light goes on for my webcam.
That bothers me, so I will look for another method to show the %volume.
