Hi,
Very new to Linux and struggling already :-(, I have limited real estate (monitors, keyboard, mouse etc) yet want to learn Linux so have got a nano-pc . Have installed “mate” with no issues and thats on my network but now want to RDP to it from my windows 10 machine. I have installed all manner of software on my Linux machine but none of it works.
If I launch an RDP session from my Win 10 machine (please dont hate me too much) I can get a splash screen asking for my login details/password which I do but it never gets any further I just get a blank screen.
Is there a very (and I mean very) simple way of achieving this ??
Hi thanks for that, I have tried this and it doesn’t work. I launch Windows RDP, put in the IP address get an Xorg session , enter my login details which it seems to accept then just leaves me with a blank screen.
Hi , Couldn’t get it to work even with a fresh install, so assume its my Windows 10. Ended up installing X2Go and that has worked - Well when my ■■■■■■ router actually allocates ip addresses that is.
