Help with slow boot of ubuntu mate lts 18.04

Hi,

i installed mate 64bit on my laptop but it boots slowly and shutdown is also slow

and i get error message "brisk menu bar has stopped working"

and once booted if i open any window the title bar is missing but if i logout and log back in the title bar appears again
the earlier one 16.04 was working fine 64bit

i tried this
open
etc/initramfs-tools/conf.d/resume.
In this file, a line with RESUME=none (instead of the UUID)
Ran sudo update-initramfs -u to apply the changes.
but it still boots slow

I have the same problem
After kernel update my boot is very slow

anyone?

Mine was slow booting too but now since the UPDATE not booting at all.
I am using UEFI making a new USB Key now to get in and look around.
