Is it possible to to hide the category and application icons that are within the MATE classic menu?
Am I missing an obvious setting somewhere?
Right click on the menu button and select edit menus, then you can deselect the item(s) you want to hide.
Thanks for your reply but I would like to hide only the icons not the applications (or categories) themselves so that only the names (text) is displayed.
