Anyone living in the Finchley (West Finchley station two minutes away).
I need to set up a network between a desktop, a Notebook and an ASUStor RAID box.
So far I managed to save my desktop hard drive to the Asustor but can’t seem to back up each day.
I have the Asustor app on my Android phone and can see all my files on the Asustor from anywhere.
What would be perfect is to have both my Desktop and my Notebook working with the Asustor, or even using the Asustor as a repository and each computing accessing it for their files.
Nobody uses my desktop if I am on the Notebook so no clash here.
I need to get a Brother Label Printer working from my Desktop. I have the two Brother Linux Drivers on my Desktop.
I have a Samsung Dex, and now only found out it doesn’t work with Linux as such, but there are limited things one can do.
I have been using Linux for ten years but find it difficult to do these things, I’m only 13 months off 80 years old.
I would guess it would take an experienced Linux man an hour or three and am more than happy to pay a reasonable fee.
Can anyone help me with these tasks? Not too worried if the Dex poses a problem.
