Even when the password is not required at login, the login box still appears and you have to
click it or press enter. How can you stop the login box from appearing so that Ubuntu will go
ahead and boot to the desktop without having to click or press enter at the login box ?
I looked at this - Auto login to my account and then altered my “lightdm.conf” file located in the etc/lightdm folder to enable the auto login feature.
The file contains these lines:
[Seat:*]
autologin-guest=false
autologin-user=michael
autologin-user-timeout=0
Your user name would be different of course. Good luck @arky217.
