How to find flex/bison on ubuntu

I just installed both bison and flex on my laptop and I don’t know they were located during installation. I’m currently using ubuntu 16.04. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try this:

dpkg-query -L bison

-and-

dpkg-query -L flex
