I don' t want connection screen on boot!

Hi
I choose to have no password on boot, but a connection screen is still coming, and needs to click or hit "enter", so I can' t use Wow...
Did I forgot something?
Thank you

Hi freewee,

there are two options to check out. See if you can make use of the options there!.

Control (Settings) > Administration > Login Window:

Control (Settings) > Administration > Users & Groups:

Hi
Unfortunately, I tested different tweakings without improvement!

Always the login screen that needs a response with click or hit enter, and prevent me to use it remotely with wow...
Thank you

Hi @freewee,

all you need is to enter desired username in "automatic login" section and reboot. Note this will not work if home folder of that user is encrypted.

Hope this helps

OK!! I was typing my password instead of my username. Shame on me!
Everything' s right now, and I can go further with MATE, because the evolution of Ubuntu 19.10 and 20.04 doesn' t please me. I' m in multi boot, and I' m migrating my menus, wine applications etc...
Thank you for your help, excuse my language !

No problem, we all have a bad day now and then!. :grinning:

Surprisingly, user is not required to be in nopasswdlogin group to be automatically logged in now. I wonder whether this is intended behaviour.

Hi Ironfoot,

I honestly have no idea as I always select to enter a password when booting and have never played around with it!. :grinning:
