For those of you that rely on Windows for editing your photos and don’t want to use Gimp.
I’ve found that FastStone runs really well using Playonlinux (Software Boutique) to install it.
The most recent version is available on line - the image viewer is free for personal use.

I always install irfanview via wine and it works well. Not as extensive as gimp etc but it does certain things I like very nicely. Mainly I use it for resizing, sharpening and auto adjusting colours. It also has a useful undo button just in case.
