Right-click the start button, click on the Ubuntu logo, and a short context menu will appear.
There, you'll see the Preferences option. Click there, and it'll be easy to use.
Thank you for replying, Gregor.
By "start button", do you mean the following:
If so, what is presented with the "right-click" does not show an "Ubuntu logo". How would I get that logo to show itself?
The only place I see a logo (UbuntuMATE logo) is on the Control Panel. Is that what you want me to click on?
If you mean the Preferences from the "right-click" on the "Menu App", the "Favorites" tab (seen below) controls ALL system icons, globally, not just the icon associated with the Menu App.
I think that it may have to do with Slackware as neither on my system I can't see the "preferences" option for my menu (although I use "classic menu" so it may be the case) - anyways when I right click on UM logo in the menu I get these same options you've listed in your first photo of the last message and when I open "edit menu(s)" I get the options to pick and choose what to see in which menu segment but I cannot see any way in which to make the icons bigger
I think only option to increase font of an app is via "Appearance Preferences" under "Fonts" where there are many optional segments of which font sizes/types to use for what purpose all the way from application font to window title font - but that doesn't seem to answer the question of application image size unless the font change also increases the proportions of the image visuals
in Slackware it is installed separately
set maximum size to all icons: 32
