Is blue tooth any better in UM 18.04

I bought a new emta (TG862R) for Comcast triple play. With my old Arris modem (TM822) the Bluetooth worked fine. When I installed the new modem/router I can’t get my headphones to pair.

Blueman is 2.0.4. Bluetooth is working for my tablets and laptop because a PW for the new emta is required. A field comes up to enter the PW. Nothing shows up for the PW when trying to pair the headphones. Search finds nothing to pair with.

Is there another Bluetooth manager that can be used in UM 16.04?

Is the Blueman Bluetooth IMPORVED in 18,04?

I had similar problems in 16.04 with an inability to pair with certain sets of headphones and speakers, but I can report that these problems went away with 18.04. Thankfully, you can try it before you install it; just boot the DVD or flash drive and check yourself.
