Is it worth to move to 18.04? Are there any significant changes? What about stability?

Just to clarify, I meant 17.10 not 18.04 for now.

17.10 has a small amount of bugs but it works fine once you get that out of the way!. One problem is when installing software via the terminal, it doesn’t do the job fully so you need to install any single package (of your choice) and it will finish the install of the other packages, apart from that and the sometimes slow shutdown speed, it is fine!.
That said, if you want stability, stick with 16.04 until next April when 18.04 comes out!.

IMHO the LTS versions provide super stability.
If your system has enough space you might consider running 17.10 as a second OS which will enable plenty of testing and experimentation while maintaining the stability of LTS.
