Looking for a hacker game that i can play on mate

Evening everyone hope we are all well, i am looking for some advice on a hacker game for mate tried to get hacknet, but to no avail comes up with some error about the graphics card probably because of the emulation .
any suggestions ?

ps have looked on steam and the ones that play on steam play should they work on linux /mate

You could try Uplink, which is available for Ubuntu 14.04 and 16.04 from gog.com .

thanks guys will check these out just thought it was extremely odd that hacknet which is linux based in game is only available in windows anyone else find that kind of ironic

just got the demo of hacker evolution working on steam so maybe hacknet will work
