Hello! I would like to buy this desktop mini PC from AliExpress, because the quality / price ratio seems really good. But are there any hidden problems? Will it work with Ubuntu Mate?

Looks like a pretty good deal!
It’s kind of hard to know if it will work without knowing the exact specs, but there’s some things right off the bat: it’s Intel CPU with integrated graphics - usually no problem especially since this is not the latest generation of Intel CPU.
The TDP will be higher than the latest gen but it should work fine.
The main concern is the network cards, without knowing the exact model you can’t know what you’re in for.

interesting, the aliexpress page for your first option says it ships with windows 10 but supports win 7-8-10/linux/mac. The amazon page for the same product, here says it comes with Ubuntu. Here is the amazon.it page for the same product.
At least in US$ the cost is lower via the amazon.com site, not sure about the amazon.it site.
