This distro works a treat. Maybe the best os I ever had, but i have this frustrating (bug?) that I lost those fun menu sounds when moving the cursor across items.
I have tried meddling with the sound options to no avail.
Kindly help, regards
I think you're referring to the input sounds when pressing buttons and switching between windows - these are part of the sound scheme.
Since around 18.10 or 19.04, the default sound scheme switched to Ubuntu's Yaru which doesn't have those particular sound events.
Install the ubuntu-sounds
package, a quick way is via the Terminal (CTRL+ALT+T):
sudo apt install ubuntu-sounds
Then select Ubuntu in Sound Settings which will restore them. [click ]
