Hello, I am new to Ubuntu Mate and just installed it on my MacBook Air early 2015. Everything is fine, but I have the problem that when I want it to go to sleep mode ( by closing the MacBook ) after a few seconds, the Apple logo starts to turn on. And so does the screen with full brightness. How do I solve this problem ? Excuse me for my bad English.

What version of Ubuntu MATE are you using?
A quick search found this bug, which seems similar except it’s for an older Ubuntu version. You could try the suggestion in comment #3.

I’m using Ubuntu Mate 18.04 LTS (Bionic), i will try this suggestion and let you know if it worked for me.

Doesn’t solve the problem for me… Am i doing soemthing wrong ? Can you tell me what exactly i write in the terminal ?
Update: Seems to be fixed, i made a mistake at first, sorry … but thank you very much for helping me out! If this bug comes back, i will let you know.
