Mate 18:04 does not begin

Hi guys, I bought a computer, I removed windows 10 and I put ubuntu MATE 18:04 for several apps I need, I installed Mate twice and I have the same error, it starts the OS but stops at a point that does not continue,

I did normal installation, update later and add apps, restarted several times but the next day did not start Mate, started the Grub and then stopped, then the image I uploaded.
I don't know how to fix it, if someone helps me a little,,

greetings...

Hi
For me its trying to use a not available device.
In emergency mode that you are on the first screen, try to read the /etc/fstab file and locate if there is no one like your device :

We need to figure out what is this device that the OS is waiting for at boot.

Now that i'm thinking, it cab be only the swap device.
Did you done manual disk partitioning or automatic one ?

I made a manual partition, but I didn't put swap, in 18:04 it was already integrated in the OS

maybe some trouble in the bios... ???

Screenshot shows something rare. On "punto de montaje" do not show root (/) and /home like it's supposed to be. It shows /media. Did you install ubuntu on external drive? Does your computer have 2 disks?

I don't know if the problem was caused by Mate18:04, I have always done the installations manually and I think I did the installations well but ended up not starting the system.

I have installed MATE 20:04 and it has not given me any failure.
Thanks to those of you who have contributed, 3 people see more than one.
I am already happy, greetings...
