Mate-welcome 24.04

Brand new install 2nd May 24 Mate 24.04, and guess what? Welcome screen not working. ```
done the sudo snap install ubuntu-mate-welcome --classic and it shows up ok in the system>admin>drop-down and its showing applied in Synaptic, but guess what...nothing's happening.
Maybe it's a bit hard for developers to fix this pain in the botty.

Thank you,at least we know now. You think they would have given us a bit of warning. I tried Ubuntu 24.04, but didnt like it...icons everywhere, such a muddle.
