Mintstick on 16.04?

For me mintstick is a must-have on my os. So i installed the latest 16.04 beta2 but now i can not install mintstick on it?
Somebody can help me out here?

Hi Drum

I had a look around and found the .deb package and a 14.04 ppa. So if it is a must have for you, you could download the package and use Gdebi to install it or the 14.04 ppa.

I have not tried either, so all I can say is I think it should work.

v3xx, thanks for the link to the deb.package, i will give it a try as soon i’m back on the laptop wich gave 16.04 on it.
ppa’s i don’t like so that is not a option

You should (can) also install udisks2 in Ubuntu 15.10 and higher!:

Use Disks which is installed by default and has a Recover Disk Image facility designed to do what you’re seeking. See the Ubuntu MATE Download page for a tutorial video

The deb file has done the job, my mate 16.04 is great now

Hi Guys, I found the App Linux Mint used to format USB flash drives and recording images, I had it in Ubuntu 14.04 and now I have it installed on Ubuntu 16.04 Mate,

first necessary files are installed to work, then you will have to reinstall it and you're done.

Formatted in Ext4, FAT32 and NTFS, you can rename the USB memory.

1.2.8 is Mintstick
