Nautilus runs when Dropbox Folder is selected from menu

Hi!
I’m using Caja-Dropbox on Ubuntu 16.04 64 bit. When I selecting Open Dropbox Folder from taskbar icon menu, Nautilus runs instead of Caja in spite Caja is set as preferred file manager. How to change setting so that Caja opens Dropbox folder from taskbar icon menu?

That does sounds like you have inadvertently installed the ordinary version of Dropbox instead of the “caja-dropbox” version.

Did you install the version from the Software Boutique?

Also, are you using ordinary Ubuntu or Ubuntu Mate?

Thank you for quick response!
I installed UbuntuMate 16.04, however my profile, at least some configuration elements, are from times of Ubuntu 7.04. I used Synaptic to install caja-dropbox. Command to run at startup is caja-dropbox start -i. Nautilus-dropbox is not installed. Default file manager according to Preferred Applications is Caja. The same is set also by exo-preferred-applications.

Some how Nautilus must have been installed since it’s not normally installed with ubuntu-mate.
Did you install any other software that might have pulled Nautilus as a dependency?

Was this a clean install or did you keep your /home folder?

It looks like Nautilus really is installed as dependency for something, which is already gone. As soon as I remove Nautilus, Dropbox folder is opened by Caja.
I used clean installation and then copy application information from old profile folder for .mozilla, .dropbox, .libreoffice, .qgis etc.
So, for me the solution was un-installing of the Nautilus. Changed title to Solved.
