I’ve decided to create my own theme. Reason being, my favorite theme is “BSM Simple” and I use it on all of my devices. Unfortunately, BSM Simple doesn’t have GTK3 support. The author is unresponsive in regards to adding GTK3 support, so I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands. My unofficial continuation is called “BSM Reborn” and its goal is to offer a professional grayscale theme with GTK2 and GTK3 support. I’m not really good at this, but I think what I’ve accomplished so far isn’t exactly terrible.

Since I’m not really good at creating themes, I’ve reverse-engineered the color schemes in the Ambiant-MATE Theme to replace geen elements with gray. Then, I took elements of BSM Simple and superimposed them over Ambiant-MATE. Given my limited skill, this is the only way I know of to create the theme.
