I just noticed on Redmond panel there is no desktop icon.
"Show Desktop Icons" is enabled on Mate Tweak.

Edit: Actually, there are icons on the desktop but I cannot see them. It might have something to do with resolution. I have dual monitors. When I plug in the cable for my external monitor, my desktop icons goes up to a point I can't see them. To deal with it, all I can do is to unplug the second monitor so that icons will show up on my screen, move the icons to the bottom of my screen and plug it back in so that icons don't go that far. It doesn't happen on any other layouts only with Redmond. Adding new icons to the desktop is a pain in the ass since it shows up at the top left corner.
