No script / Privacy Badger

Hi guys

I know that my question is not related to Ubuntu Mate but maybe somebody knows if Privacy Badger and No Script do the same job or silmilar ??? can i use both at same time in Firefox ???

No, they’re not the same.
NoScript is something that prevents javascript code from executing in your browser.
Privacy Badger is a system that automatically detects websites that are tracking you and prevents your browser from connecting to these websites.
I personally use three addons simultaneously:

  • uBlock Origin (Ad blocker)
  • Privacy Badger (Block trackers)
  • HTTPS everywhere (Ensure secure connections are used whenever possible)

I also use NoScript when using TorBrowser.

Thanks for the reply !!!

In Firefox by default is HTTPS Everywhere and NoScript,i did add Privacy Badger;i am trying Anonymox which works really good and save the settings from Duckduckgo without any IP Leak :smile:

Now,i am trying Opera browser,seems to be good,i added ScriptSafe and HTTPS Everywhere but not sure if add Privacy badger cause this ScriptSafe has some similar features like privacy badger and i am afraid about the contradictions …
