No Sound and install Netgear AC600 dual band adapter

Hi there,
I am a new user just 2 days ago I installed ubuntu mate, I have a hp Compaq dc7800 desktop PC, right now I am facing 2 problems:

  1. The sound card is installed but i can’t hear any sound.
  2. How I install wifi adapter Netgear AC600.
    Please help me out.
