OCRFeeder: Exporting TXT from multiple pages...solution!

There’s a Unicode issue with the 16.04 LTS and earlier builds of OCR Feeder that makes exporting multiple pages to plain text a hit or miss (usually miss) affair. (https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=767338)

Just want to give a heads up that there should hopefully be a patched package coming downstream from Gnome/Debian in the near future.

If you need it NOW, there’s a new commit on the Gnome git that fixes the Unicode issue.

Download the snapshot (https://git.gnome.org/browse/ocrfeeder/snapshot/ocrfeeder-8ed3dc500ef0d91c19a31dea35a39c87da4659c3.tar.xz) and run autogen.sh and make.

You will likely need to install some additional packages to satisfy build requirements.

autogen
gnome-common
libglib2.0-dev
yelp-tools

There may be others.

Thanks for the heads up and for reporting the bug.
Can you remember to use the checkbox next to your first post once the patch will have made its way downstream to mark the issue as solved?
