Onboard at login

I can get onboard to show at login but it does not work. It would be really nice if it did because I am using a tablet PC. Does anyone else have this problem and solved it?

Hi clay,

try installing “kmag” and use that if it works!.

sudo apt-get install kmag

Thank you, I’ll try that.

I’m afraid that didn’t work.

Hi Clay,

my bad sorry, when I typed "kmag" I was thinking about screenreaders and not keyboards!.

Try installing "gok":

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Accessibility/Reviews/GOK

Onboard is pre-installed and can be set to auto start in System - Preferences - Accessibility, or some like that :open_mouth:

I think “sudo apt-get install kmag” command screwed up my curser. Onboard is installed and works after login. Onboard also opens on the login screen but does not function. I can click on the keys but they do not fill in my password.

Press Ctrl + Alt + t (terminal) and use the following command to rid yourself of “kmag”!:

sudo apt-get remove kmag
