For some strange reason this months Patreon pledge (paid via paypal) was rejected. not only for Ubuntu-MATE but all the other creators I back.
Has anyone else had their payment’s rejected, for no reason it seems?
I can’t even sign up for Patreon. Been trying for several months on and off. but I can’t even create an account. The screen just stares at me. Javascript? I’ve even installed Adobe Flash (Mea Culpa) .
I’ve turned off all blocking extensions on Firefox save one . I even relaxed my aversion to AWS and Google but I will never allow Facebook have any data what-so-ever.
If this is what is stopping me, I’ll just forgo the Patreon benefits and make a one-time donation. Anyone know if this Facebook thing is a show stopper? I’ll try again on another computer. Maybe a Windows machine LOL That will confuse them. Maybe.
Fixed it. It appears it was an extension “Canvas blocker” that wasn’t on the panel. so I didn’t notice that it was active
