Permission denied

When I try to move photos from my external to my internal disk I get the message permission denied.

How do I get the required permission please

In terminal:

gksudo caja

Should work now, just be careful what you do. When using caja as a superuser (gksudo) the safeties are off and a mistake can really hurt things.

Hi @Robert_Walder,

are you logged in as guest or other user?, if you are not logged in as the main user (admin), it won’t let you do anything on an administrative level!.

An idiotic hint - I know: but have you tried an other usb-port? I remember, I had same issue as well a while ago and with testing a bit around it worked suddenly, but don't know why.

Either way: You could try "Rapid Photo Downloader" from "Software Boutique"
