I have installed ubuntu mate and I wanted some sort of dock.Thank god plank was pre-insalled.I opened plank and there it was sitting down at the bottom of the screen.When I opened mate-panel properties I could see the properties icon on the plank and when I clicked on it,not only does it minimize the properties tab but also the panel itself.I don't know why it does that. I will be glad if ubuntu-mate team fixes it soon.(I am really annoyed by this problem)
