I have read somewhere.....UM is a GTK friendly distro and not a QT5
its the post about vlc and mpv not sure if it is relevant but I am new here myself
i uninstalled deepin-screenshot and the problem went away but it's weird because it all worked on my previous installation on the same hardware
maybe just removing deepin-notifications will work?
well I am stumped.
after installing d-screenshot without reboot....my notifications for usb removal still worked as normal....and I was away doing 2 reboots to test again with equal success.
Can I mention that I use mtpaint to take time delayed screenshots if UM screenshot app is not to your liking.
If you believe deepin-screenshot is the culprit....then it would also make sense to remove deepin-notifications.
There a lot of screenshot apps and mtpaint does not use notification daemon.
thank you for your help
haha, I reinstalled deepin-screenshot and removed deepin-notifications and it all works fine now
