Hello,
So there i was minding my own business, switching to one of the command terminals in TTY1-6. I needed to go so i pressed the power button which is configured to go into standby. When i came back and powered on the computer, it booted up instead of waking up from standby.
My configuration in mate is not respected from TTY1-6. I repeated these actions just to be sure.
Press CTRL+ALT+[1-6]
Press Shutdown button
So all logged in sessions where killed, which was not intended 
I would really want the computer to go into standby, or at least give a warning with an option to cancel the pending shutdown.
The things you find
