Printer /dev/usb/lpx files missing on ubuntu mate 20.04

I used ubuntu 18.04, where I was sending data in hexadecimal code into a label printer by command

a.txt > /dev/usb/lp0

In a.txt there were the data in a hexadecimal representation.

I made a new installation of ubuntu mate 20.04. Here, I cannot find the lpx files belonging to my printer in /dev/usb/ folder. I checked:

  1. that the printer is correctly conected to usb via lsusb:

Bus 003 Device 007: ID 04f9:209d Brother Industries, Ltd QL-820NWB P-touch Label Printer

  1. checked, that usblp is loaded via lsmod - the usblp was on the list.

Unfortunately, the /dev/usb/lpx file of the printer cannot be seen (it is missing). Can anyone help me to make the lpx file of the printer in the /dev/usb/ ?

I found, that on ubuntu 18.04, where the lpx file appears when the printer is connected, the dmesg | grep usblp last line is not usblp1: removed, which is the case for ubuntu mate 20.04. Here is the full output for ubuntu mate 20.04:

$ dmesg | grep usblp
[ 17.634888] usblp 3-3:1.0: usblp1: USB Bidirectional printer dev 3 if 0 alt 0 proto 2 vid 0x04F9 pid 0x209D
