Pull-down terminal stopped working

Not sure what I did, but the pull-down terminal froze on me yesterday and i killed it. Now it won’t come back. I’ve restarted the computer and haven’t had any luck. When i press F12 i get the same line four times in my .xsession-errors log:

ERROR:root:Error processing keybinding: time ERROR:root:Error processing keybinding: time ERROR:root:Error processing keybinding: time ERROR:root:Error processing keybinding: time

Is there a way to restore the pull-down terminal?

type “tilda” into a terminal. If it does not work, the terminal should report some error. In which case, report back on here the error the terminal reported. If, on the other hand, it works, try the keybind and report back on here what happens

Thanks Steve. It ended up being my fault. I had inadvertently turned off F Lock on my keyboard so when i was hitting F12 it wasn’t sending F12. I’ve got things working again.
