Hi, is there a way to have different desktop backgrounds for each workspace?

I use to do this and don't have a copy of the script. It was simple, 4 or 5 lines and should be easy enough to google it.
The complaint most people had is the split second it takes to change the wallpaper. Its fast but still a distraction.
I eventually moved on to a auto background changer that gets the pics off the internet.
sudo apt install variety

I forgot, its different for compiz. As I recall, there's a plugin for this.

Specifically, the wallpaper plugin from ccsm (via compizconfig-settings-manager). It’s a little unwieldy but it does the job.
Now, does anyone know how to make the desktop icons in caja display on top of thre Compiz wallpaper?
