Raspberry Pi 2. MPEG-2 and VC-1 licenses. How to install?

I have received my MPEG-2 and VC-1 licenses from the Pi store, but don’t have a clue how to install them on Ubuntu Mate. I am a beginner, and would be most grateful for a step by step guide. I have found plenty on how to install them in Raspian, but nothing regarding Ubuntu Mate.

Thank you

Arthur.

Links are in the main Raspberry Pi 2 topic :slight_smile:

Sorry for being a complete chump! Where do I find the main Raspberry Pi 2 topic? I’m guessing the links will contain a step by step guide? I’ve been looking, but obviously in a dozy kind of way.

@Arthur - this is a bit late, but hopefully you will still see it if you have not figured it out (and if not, it might be helpful to someone else)

It is super easy to “install” them.

You will get two “keys” that look like:

decode_MPG2=0xe########
decode_WVC1=0xe########

(where the # can be a number or a letter a to f)

You will need to edit the file in /boot/config.txt and paste those two lines at the bottom (or anywhere else). Then reboot. That’s it.
