Remove title bar menu

Hello,

how do I remove the dot in the titlebar to access the title bar menu?
It wasn't there on Ubuntu 16.04 and now is present on Ubuntu 18.04.

I find it pretty redundant, because you can access the menu by clicking the title bar with a right click.

Thanks,
Paul

The dot can also display as an icon according to the theme used. To remove that "dot", use Applications, System Tools, open dconf Editor and select org>mate>marco>general>button-layout. There, if you delete "menu" from the string, leaving everything following, the dot should disappear.

Thank you very much @mdooley
I have never discovered the dconf-Tool before.
