Is there a way to remove the title bar? I would love to have the tabs on the same level as the close window, restore window, minimizes window buttons (all the way at the top of the screen) in Firefox.
You’re in luck — Mozilla is working on this feature, and it’s almost ready. There’s a few glitches to work out, but it’s available now in Firefox Beta.
I’ve used Beta for years without any problems. (I mostly use the Nightly version now, and even that is very stable.
You can get Beta from the official Ubuntu PPA for Firefox Beta.
Once you have this version open, you will open the Firefox menu (three lines), choose Customize… and then uncheck Title Bar in the bottom left.
I think most of the work on this feature is being done by Red Hat employees, so thank Fedora and Red Hat users!
