OK. Noob here, who has read countless forums on the matter. However, I understand how to rotate the screen using the config.txt file. I was successful doing so in Raspbian. UbuntuMate is running such better for me except for this ONE VERY Needed feature.
I CAN NOT for the life of me rotate the screen. I only want a 90* turn. I have tried editing the line #display_rotate=1 (I have tried 2 and 3 also and nothing). I have tried adding #display_rotate=1 to the bottom of the config file like people have suggested and nothing.
Has anyone actually been able to rotate the screen using Ubuntu Mate? I am using HDMI video connection and have an updated version. What am I missing? Other than changing the dispay_rotate values my config file is untouched.
Thanks so much guys.
