Printer installs and work fine. The scanner however doesn’t. The scanner name doesn’t display in Simple Scan. So the system doesn’t even see it.

Scanner is working fine in all Mint installations (Mint Mate 18), where I use the same driver. Just doesn’t work on any of my Ubuntu-Mate installations (1604.1)

Can anyone assist?

Installed XSANE 0.999, works fine!
