Hello, relatively new Ubuntu MATE user here, been using it as my daily driver OS on a desktop I built back in January. I initially had it running 17.10, but recently updated to 18.04. I just copied all my important files to an external hard disk, and did a fresh install of the LTS version. Anyway, an issue I’ve encountered is that if I suspend the computer, (because I don’t want it to be spinning and illuminating it’s fans constantly when I’m not using it, somewhat due to the small amount of noise it makes, but also so the computer saves power) it used to lock the screen, as in I would need to enter my password in order to get back to my desktop. After the reinstall, with the new version, suspending the computer does not lock the screen, meaning anyone could come up to the computer while I’m away and be logged into my account immediately after waking up the computer. I’m not sure how to change this, I did look in the control center for some setting that I could change, but I still did not figure out how to fix this. How do I make the screen lock automatically again when I suspend the computer?
