The moderators had a discussion about a security category. We think in common that a new category isn't a necessity nor are we happy to overcomplicate the forum with even more categories.
Going back to a my first response, there isn't enough topics right now that educates about security or privacy that makes a new category seem absolutely necessary.
However... good news, we're adopting tags on the forum! 
Any topics can be tagged as "security" and will show up here.
If you want to watch/track these topics, change it with this:
Topics can have multiple tags, and continue to fit in its relevant category -- whether it's a help request, tutorial, or something in the Uncategorised area - while being on the subject of security... or privacy, or both.
