When I change an icon using launcher properties, it selects usr/share/icons… I have my custom icons in and/home/ICONS
Can I change the default to that directory?
You should save your custom downloaded icons in the /home/user_name/.icons folder. The /usr/share/icons is also an option. If everything’s ok, your icons will appear in the relevant customization tools and you can apply them.
I don’t know about changing the default directory to a custom one, actually no one does that…!
When I put them in in .icons, that dir comes up when changing icons for items on the panel.
Not so when changing icons on the desktop.
/usr/share/icons is full of directories.
I will stick with my custom directory.
This would be a good addon for the next release. Hint Hint
