Show Workspaces when moving windows?

Dear all,

I very much like that I see the Workspaces when pressing Ctrl + Alt + Arrow Keys.

However, I do not see them when pressing Shift + Ctrl + Alt + Arrow Keys to move the active window to another workspace.

This is very irritating because I never know on which workspace I ended up with my active window.

Is there any way I can enable to see the Workspaces when moving windows?

Yours,

Robert

Dear Robert ,

Marco has no such feature (searched in gsetting keys and shortcuts config). You can see the active workspace on the pager applet . If you don’t have the applet on the panel you could call the window menu e.g. right click on the titlebar or alt+space (by default) then select “move to a diffirent workspace” and in that list the active workspace will be grayed out since you can’t move the window to the same workspace you are on. Another solution is to use Compiz .

You could create a [Feature request] in Marco github repository ..

Thank you, @IvCHo.

I will file a feature request then as I indeed do not use the applet (my panels are set to automatically hide).

For anyone interested, the feature request is now placed here:
