[SOLVED] Booting fresh Ubuntu Mate 15.10 - just a blank screen

Hi,

i have downloaded Ubuntu Mate 10.50. I copied the image via dd (on Mac OS X) to an 8GB SD Card. I have 5 PIs with OpenElec or Raspbian. So i have done that many times before.

When i boot the Pi2, nothing is displayed, the screen stays black. But it boots, the green led is flashing, and after some time i here a audio plop out of the speakers (connected through 3,5 Headphone Jack).
I have tried to set hdmi_force_hotplug=1, but no difference. The screen is black during the whole boot.

The monitor: Dell 2407wfp (1920 x 1200 Pixel)

The same Hardware (PI2, Display, SDCard) with Raspbian works fine.

What can i try to get a working Ubuntu on PI?

Did you try this: Ubuntu Mate 15.10. "No signal"

I didn’t find that, because i used the wrong search keywords :frowning:

I use a DVI2HDMI Adapter also.
