Hi guys,
I have disabled icon display on the desktop, so that Caja is no handling it.
It works well with Marco and Compton, but in my setup it does not work with Compiz.
Compiz does not seem to draw the desktop, so I end up with a black background and moving windows corrupts the screen (it is not cleared).
Of course, re-enabling Caja to draw the desktop works, but I would prefer to avoid that.
Is there a setting to enable in Compiz or any other workaround?
NB: Ubuntu Mate 18.04
SOLUTION: I solved it by enabling “solutions” in the Compiz settings, and checking the box “Force synchronization between X and GLX”.
