How to run a bash script at startup?

Hi,

How do I start (execute) a .sh file when logging into my ubuntu mate desktop?

I'm on version 18.04, Pi3 B+ system.

The .sh file runs fine when double clicking on it.

Do I put it in a certain folder?

Thanks
Steve

Hi Everyone,

I figured out how to run the .SH file at startup using Ubuntu Mate.

First add it to the startup programs:
Menu/preferences/startup applications/add

And then most importantly modify the permissions on the file to read and write:
Properties/permissions/others/access/read and write

Thank Everyone!
