Hi ! when i open some video file . My whole system freeze, but the sound still playing . Crtl+alt+F1 or Crtl+atl+del does nothing , and the only way to shutdown is holding the power button !
is there anyway to solve this problem ? thanks
Local video file (if so, using VLC or something else?), online video (YouTube and such) or both?
If it’s only in VLC, try to go to the settings → Video → Output and try a different one. It should be Automatic, which is OpenGL now I think, try Xvideo (XCB) or X11 (XCB).
